Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST)

This will be the place where i will be in the next few months.
Photos were taken by a senior who is currently a research at HKUST.
These photos will be a motivate me to exercise more often, especially since Hong Kong is a food paradise.
Notice that HKUST has the nice seaview? that`s because it is located at the boundaries of HK.

Deco really reminds me of the Chelsea Legend, Gianfranco Zola!!!

Scolari(see picture) also reminds me of an Ex-Chelsea Boss, noneother than Jose Mourinho,

the way they despair and celebrate are the same. cool!

Lastly, the final whistle of the Man Utd Vs Newcastle match has been blown.

Full Time Score: 1-1, Man Utd is at the 10th Position.

Let`s hope Scolari and his value-added blues can win back when they lost last season.

Teachers are like Guardsmen...Over-work, Under-paid.

School term is starting, i am supposed to be happy, as i will have the opportunity to teach in ****** Secondary School and teaching is the job i want since young.
However, the email i received today startled me. I am totally shocked...
Big Boss has given me a big belated birthday present. I received my teaching schedule at ****** Secondary School this coming July 01 til July 24. My working hours will be from 7.15am till 5pm every school day.

I am given a project to do, titled: Making Maths Easy, whereby i need to observe Secondary 2 students during maths classes for a week, come up with a survey, come up with solutions to solve the problem of sec 2 students' dis-interest in mathematics.

I will also have numerous meetings with thier Maths HOD, Maths Department, VP and P.

Haizzz....Life is not going to be easy for me during this period.

So for those who are still thinking of jumping into the same wagon as me, think twice!
There is a price to pay for that Golden Rice Bowl!

Oh yah, did i mention that we will not be paid for these 3 and a half weeks school attachement?
It is a no-pay 8-5 job, cool right...

Kung Fu Panda!!!!

Wow! when i first saw the Kung Fu Panda advertisement at the bus stop, i thought it was just another Kung Fu animation....But i was wrong, this animated film about a Panda who dreams about being a Kung Fu Master having his dream come true was simply hilarious!!! And i guess that was the reason why it kicked Sex and the city out of the top spot of the US box office. I went to the new E!Hub @ downtown east with my girlfriend as we always wanted to check out the cinema...Well, we were very satisfied, the couple-seats were very spacious, and we have more than enough legroom...there are also those side table(like those in our LT) for us to put our food.

Movie Rating: 4.5/5 for an animation
Cinema: 4/5
Ambience: 3.5/5 - Too many chalet go-ers, and kids, i even heard one of them ask his mummy, why Jackie Chan haven't come out? LOL...

As a loyal chelsea fan for the past decade, i have seen chelsea changing managers like changing clothes.... This is not healthy to the club management... Ruud Gullit, Gianluca Vialli, Claudio Ranieri, Jose Mourinho, and Avram Grant are all fantastic managers...In fact, i dare say that if given enough time and patience for them to manage chelsea, we will be able to win Champions' league, BPL, FA Cup, League Cup, Charity Shield, or any trophies, you name it, we will win it...

I really pity them, and at the same time envy Alex Ferguson, Arsenal Wenger as they were given the trust to manage the club without much pressure of being Sacked...Whereas a Chelsea manager have to manage a club with the constant fear of being kick at the butt anytime during the season....

After the booting of Mourinho, i totally couldn't accept any manager taking over his position, and so Avram Grant naturally got my dislike...However, after his "less than a season" stint at chelsea, i realised that he does know his stuffs. It is not easy to be criticized throughout the season and still attain runners-up position in 3 trophies... He is such a fatherly figure in the chelsea dressing room... all the lads loves father grant... It was such a emotional scene when Grant lend Terry his shoulders to cry after the penalty miss a few days ago...

Father Grant, you will be missed!!!

Analysis of why there are so many crowd followers around

Man U fan on my left, Man U fan on my right, they are EVERYWHERE!!!!

Why is this so?

I have come up with a few possible answers to it.

1st) Elitism-If i support Man U, i am in the upper class of the soccer society, even if i wear a fake man U jersey also shiok ah!

2nd) Girlfriend like Beckham, like Ronaldo, so i also like lor- This is an upcoming trend in football where girls start to watch football and support teams with good-looking footballers, notably Cristiano Ronaldo and David Beckham, both of them are good-looking and plays good football...
In order to win all these sporty girls heart, wear a MAN U jersey!!!

3rd) Crowd following- Imagining yourself in a pub surrounded by hundreds of people wearing red colour jersey, do you dare to wear blue one? Do you have the guts?

4th) The most unlikely one- because of man united team spirit... Don't joke with me lah, even derby has better team spirit lah!!

There are many many more reasons, above are the notable ones.

I salute all those fans out there wearing Blue, White and black striped, White etc...
You guys are the real supporters!

Man u is the Champion of England...But Champion of Europe??

I see many of my friends' nick saying "Glory Glory Man United", " Man Utd the Champion of England and Europe" etc...

I forgive them for doing all these... perhaps they have to work the next morning and they missed watching the match.

I stayed up and watched the entire match, eyes fixed on my humble television set for the full 90 minutes, till the penalty shoot-out...

Man Utd played well during the first half and could have killed the game but too bad they didnt...
In the 2nd Half, Chelsea was the team setting the tempo... With Claude Makelele instrumental in the Chelsea Half, antagonizing the Rooney, Ronaldo and Tevez, and with Essien the bull charging straight into the heart of the Man Utd Defence.... But Lady Lucky is not with us in this final...

When Ronaldo missed the penalty, i am almost certain that Chelsea will be crowned the champion. However, poor Terry, the most Die-hard player in Chelsea must have given himself too much pressure till he slipped and missed the penalty....

In my opinion, we can create a team with superstars like Man Utd, or a team like Greece, won Euro 2004 due to its good team spirit and team work...

I would say Chelsea is a combination of both... After the death of Pat Lampard, Frank's Mum, the entire team wanted to lift up the spirit of Frank, the unity amongst the players can never be bought by Roman's money...
